Leah's book at Amazon!

In "This Never Happens in the
City," Grace is a city girl who finds herself surrounded by all kinds of unusual creatures when her parents drag her off to the country for the summer. She is awakened by birds chirping, finds baby raccoons in the window box, and can't believe it when a squirrel crashes their picnic and carries away her peanut butter sandwich. All this never happens in the city! Grace can't wait to go home, but when the summer is over she is surprised to realize she'll miss all the fun experiences she had in the country - although she won't miss the seagulls pooping on the car!
Children love this story written by 6 year old Leah Lane and her mom, Bonnie
Comley. Illustrator Amit Trainin has filled the 28 page book with fun, quirky drawings that add humor and charm to Grace's adventures. All proceeds from the sale of this book benefit the Child Development Center of the Hamptons
(CDCH). (Ages 3 to 7)
